Diablo is a young colt with a playful, cheeky personality and a strong love for life.
He is currently recovering after a serious colic episode and is making steady progress with ongoing care and monitoring.

We are incredibly grateful for his recovery so far, and his journey is a reminder of how quickly horses can change and how important immediate veterinary care is.

Each horse at Hawkez Haven has their own journey, personality, and needs. Some are here for rehabilitation, some for long-term such as retirement, and some are learning to trust humans again.

We currently care for horses including a young colt, mares, and geldings at different stages of recovery and development, all receiving tailored support based on their individual needs.

Many of the horses in our care arrive with medical, behavioral, or emotional challenges that require time, patience, and ongoing medical and emotional support. Every day care decision is made with their wellbeing as the priority.

  • Medication and ongoing rehabilitation, recovery

SUPPORT HAWKEZ HAVEN

Hawkez Haven exists because of people who care.

We’re a small, heart-led rescue and rehab for horses who’ve had a rough ride in life, neglected, injured, unwanted, or just out of options.

Right now, we have 10 horses, each with their own story of struggle, survival, and hope. Some are recovering from serious injuries, some from illness, or some just learning to trust humans again. Every bale of hay, vet visit, patch of safe grazing, and quiet moment of healing is made possible by people who choose to step in, help and support us 💛

This is real work. Some days it’s feeding, cleaning, and grooming. Some days it’s holding a scared horse while the vet patches them up. Some days it’s just making sure they have space to feel safe.

Sponsor a Horse

You can sponsor one of our horses weekly or monthly. Your support directly covers feed, care, and wellbeing, and you become part of their story. 

Donate Grazing or Land

Safe land is gold. Grazing gives horses space to heal, stretch their legs, and just be horses.

Donate Feed, Gear, or Supplies

We can always use:

  • Hay, chaff, hard feed

  • Rugs, tack, halters, lead ropes

  • Grooming gear and boots

  • First aid supplies

  • Paddock & fencing materials

  • Anything that helps the horses’ daily care
